Why go to a Board Certified Orthodontist?
There’s a good reason to see a board-certified orthodontist for your important dental procedure, such as teeth straightening. That’s because a general dentist is a graduate of a dental school recognized and accredited by the American Dental Association. Because of this accreditation, general dentists may legally perform a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontics. However, a general dentist is not an orthodontic specialist. An orthodontic specialist has graduated from an accredited dental school and then Board Certification requires an additional 2-3 years of specialty training in an orthodontic post-graduate residency program.
Dr. Taylor is, in fact, an orthodontic specialist and has earned the highest level of achievement recognized by the American Association of Orthodontists. Additionally, he is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontists, which is an honor that only about 20% of practicing orthodontic specialists have achieved. When all is said and done, if you are interested in a free orthodontic consultation, you can trust our Board Certified Orthodontist to give you the best possible advice.
